The Multimedia Specialist is a member of the Corporate Communications team, sales and marketing. The specialist will work with team members to create and extend the reach of business partner, associate and client communications through multimedia communications consistent with organizational goals and business strategies. This position supports various communications channels and platforms, specifically video production. The role requires developing, evaluating and reporting on multimedia metrics to demonstrate ROI. The specialist may also assist with the creative design and production of communications materials.

Responsibilities

 

Support execution of the department’s video strategy and activation plan aligned with corporate priorities

·       Work with members of the communications team to create and distribute videos for internal and external use

·       Edit video footage for use in various communications channels – social, web, meetings, etc.

·       Measure, analyze and report on data and statistics

·       Catalog and organize video footage

·       Proactively identify opportunities for multimedia use

·       On occasion, produce internal and external videos

 

Digital Asset Management System support

·       Support the department’s new Digital Asset Management System

·       Enhance meta tags and overall organization

·       Continue to evolve the new platform

 

Digital Signage Platform

·       Create a plan for implementing a digital signage platform

·       Develop a SOP for the new platform

·       Execute the launch plan

·       Coordinate with members of the department’s content team to execute on a content strategy

·       Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities

 

Support the organization’s intranet and Internet

·       Proactively identify multimedia continuous improvement opportunities for the web

·       Report on metrics


Qualifications

Qualifications

·       A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in an area such as media, digital, journalism or communications

·       A minimum of three to five years’ experience preparing multimedia communications materials

·       Familiarity with professional communications standards, including writing style guides and corporate communication best practices

·       Video production/editing skills; Experience with Final Cut Pro or video editing software

·       Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of content management systems and strategy

·       Solid knowledge of technology terms, concepts and trends

·       Utmost attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

·       Ability to simultaneously balance multiple projects with competing priorities while working in a deadline-driven environment

·       Proficiency in SharePoint and the entire Microsoft Office suite of products

·       Creativity and innovation competencies

·       Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills

·       Expertise in implementing and managing analytical tools to prove communications ROI

·       Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign a plus

·       Experience implementing SEO strategy a plus

·       Experience with Brightcove a plus
