Develop proposals and presentations that will drive regional and national sales efforts for several business units. Effectively communicates in writing management policies, strategic directions, and capabilities of business units to prospective customers. This position involves project management, attention to detail, and regular communication with senior management.
ResponsibilitiesResearches, receives and coordinates the collection of necessary project information from branch offices, including initial review of project documents and understanding of requirements.
Acts as a liaison between contracts department, branch office, and corporate finance and accounting representatives to cover all legal, pricing, and account information as requested in the clients’ RFP documents and requests.
Manages projects and timelines across multiple teams for all phases of the proposal process, including planning, design review and production. Ensures RFP/Projects deadlines are met.
Uses template and boilerplate information to begin building of RFP responses and works with the Manager for content quality and accuracy.
Identifies potential issues in the project documents and requirements, and follows up with assigned team members responsible for those task items.
Reviews, edits, and proofs all drafts from the branches according to your project timeline.
Tracks missed deadlines and follows up with branches or internal contacts as necessary to ensure the on-time delivery and completion of all responses.
Coordinates printing & delivery of proposals.
Follows up with client and/or branch to ensure that the response was successfully delivered.
Researches information about the client from the branches, Internet, other corporate departments in order to have a better understanding of the clients needs..
Drives the search for references and success stories (client profiles) and assist in getting approvals through business owners.
Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree preferred.
A minimum two (2) years work experience in administrative/sales support role reporting to senior level management.
0-2 years of work experience in administrative/sales support, writing, editing, communications,
project management, and/or marketing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication, also editing/proofing, research and analytical skills.
Advanced multi-tasking skills.
Comfortable in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
Process & Detail oriented.
Sales and/or Marketing experience is a plus.
